When John Harca and his son Gareth first approached Brave, they already had a brilliant idea that they had spent years refining, and was proving to be very successful. When we first met, they had managed to get their product right and their business off the ground. Based in Northamptonshire, their set up was second to none, they clearly knew about their products. They had started to generate some real interest, had a growing client base and had cobbled together some form of branding, a website that wasn’t great but had certainly helped along the way.

It’s at this point, Brave became the perfect partner as a fully integrated agency, we knew we had the expertise to take their journey from beginning to end.

Put simply, Brave were brought onboard to help Gareth and John get on to that next level. They needed a website which was far better than the existing one. One which impressed some of their more affluent clientele and one which went much further to present them as a truly professional company with real credibility. They also wanted to launch 3 distinctive areas of the business, InstaHedge, RentaHedge and RentaMaze, all of which offer a three similar but different products to three different audiences. Our recommendations were to build three separate websites with very similar schemes on one CMS WordPress platform to ensure they could administer the content with ease, all in one place.  It’s at that point we also recommended a brand strategy to come inline with a new initiative.

We developed a set of websites that fully support the brand’s growing number of customers, be them B2B or B2C, without sacrificing any of their uniquely quirky individual brands. To provide efficiencies at the development stage, we built a template system theme for each of the three websites within WordPress whilst making subtle changes to each website. With a highly logical structure, user-friendly and highly visible layout in place, we were able to bring all three of the product ranges alive and stimulate the user to drive all calls to action.

Print Collateral

We took the approach of turning the digital into analogue as some would say, using many of the new brand’s assets to create a modern, clean and dynamic visual language in print. Starting with a set of new fresh logos, we simplified all printed collateral to ensure everything performed much better offline, and with a uniformed standard.

From brochure designs through to direct mail postcards, vehicle livery and beyond, we and the client believed that providing offline print collateral would give a far higher sense of quality to match their product offering and service.

As a start up, we didn’t have a blank chequebook to play with here, but we certainly did our very best to office efficiencies along the way. Since the three new brands were launched and accompanying websites designed and built, we’ve supported them in a number of other ways to solidify their business even further. It’s fairly indisputable that Brave have now been instrumental in their incredible journey of aggressive year on year growth.

We’ve really enjoyed this project because we know we’ve made a real difference. We’ve also made some friends in John and Gareth too.
