We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant reporting directly to the Operations Director and with full visibility across the agency, you will be the backbone for the management team. Aiding in the maintaining of operational efficiency across the business.

You will also enjoy assisting others and working hard behind the scenes to make things happen. Precise attention to detail and remarkable organisational skills will be second nature to you. You will be well known across the agency for being on top of everything with all the answers at your fingertips.

Your role will involve working with a team that creates a growing portfolio of work for it’s clients, supporting administration for the development team as well as working closely with the Operations Director to support the leadership team. Being the Operations Assistant at Brave means no two days are the same, it’s a diverse role and you are someone who loves problem-solving and making sure that day to day life at Brave runs smoothly in a positive manner, even when things are challenging.

You’ll be highly organised and comfortable working on a wide range of digital projects. You will feel at home in client facing situations and have the confidence to approach development task management and project timelines.


  • Support the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced growing digital agency.
  • Support the Operations Director in organising and prioritising workload and providing structure and clarity to the development team.
  • Provide administrative support across all Development Projects, this will include creating timelines using Gantt Charts and tasking up projects.
  • Support the team with management of client helpdesk, all related tickets and tasks.
  • Support the entire digital team with the delivery of tasks and projects as required.
  • Manage day-to-day office needs to make sure that the team is set up for success.
  • Allocate tasks, break tasks down for developers and monitor timeframes when required to do so.
  • Liaising with designers, programmers and suppliers when appropriate to ensure a seamless running of the projects
  • Monitor and update time reports on a task by task basis and update the Management team where required.
  • Ensure adherence to the process flow and development guidelines.
  • You must be strict with your own time management and avoid jumping onto reactive lesser priority tasks at the risk of higher business priorities slipping.
  • HR support, this will include making sure all documentation and processes are in place and within legal requirements. You will be responsible for the onboarding of all new starters within the business.
  • Processing invoices and updating the accounts system.
  • Answering all telephone calls and providing telephone support.
  • Office management responsibilities, including dealing with maintenance requests and office supplies.
  • Provide administration support to the Senior Management Team as required.
  • Assist with ensuring operational processes are properly documented and that key information is organised, accessible and secure.
  • Help management to overcome challenges, getting your hands dirty to help out when we are short of resources.
  • Arranging the Directors meetings and taking accurate minutes and actions if and when needed.
  • Updating company documentation when needed.
  • Ad hoc business related tasks.

Required Skills

  • Highly organised and goal orientated, you’ll have a strong eye for detail.
  • Outgoing, with strong communication skills and able to interact with different people across the agency, at all levels.
  • Experience managing project roadmaps/gantt charts.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to support in the management of multiple ongoing projects.
  • Flexibility and willingness to help out in areas that may not specifically fall within the role.
  • You’re hard-working, restless with curiosity and never settle for second best.
  • You will be helpful, resilient and confident with the ability and experience to run a tight ship.
  • You want to be surrounded by smart, diverse, lovely and passionate people who care about what they do.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • High level of organisational skills, with the ability to multitask.

  • Able to work as part of a team and build relationships across the agency.
  • Proficient in Mac and PC systems, Google Drive, Word/Excel.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Experience of supporting MD/CEO level in a senior administrative capacity.
  • General digital development, media, project and marketing knowledge.
